Deer Creek Village is a family housing site of 92 two-story town homes located south and east of Highland Park High School off SE 25th Street. A Police Substation is located in the community center for use by the Topeka Police Department officers who patrol the area.

Western Plaza
Western Plaza is a smaller twin of Deer Creek Village, with 22 two, three, four, and five bedroom town-home apartments. The complex is located four blocks northeast of Washburn University with ample off-street parking and a modern playground for children.
The neighborhood is within easy walking distance of Central Park Community Center and Robinson Middle School.
There are no computer labs at Western Plaza, but residents can make arrangements to use the computer labs at Tyler Towers located one block away.
