West Arbor opened up directly nearby Peace’s main facility on Maple Road bringing an additional 100 new youth into the area. At the same location of the old North Maple Estates housing site, West Arbor features 46 apartments ranging in size from one-bedroom units to five-bedroom units, and all have rent subsidies for low-income residents, while almost half of them are for people who were once homeless. As a part of Peace’s partnership with the Ann Arbor Housing Commission, Peace opened a new Satellite Center at West Arbor to extend the organization’s Youth Services and Family Enrichment Program to the complex’s residents.
