Federal Apartments Section 8 Project-Based Voucher Waiting List

The Housing Authority of the City of Fort Lauderdale (HACFL) last accepted Section 8 Project-Based Voucher waiting list applications for Federal Apartments from June 10, 2024, until 300 applications were received. There is no notice when this waiting list will reopen.

This waiting list was for the following property:

• Federal Apartments - Offering 2, 3 and 4-Bedroom units.

Income Qualification

The maximum income limits for each household size were as followed:

• 1 Person $$22,200 | 5 Persons $36,580
• 2 Persons $25,400 | 6 Persons $41,960
• 3 Persons $28,550 | 7 Person $47,340
• 4 Persons $31,700 | 8 Persons $52,720

Selection Process

Selected applicants were placed on the waiting list by date and time the application was received.

Application Method

To apply while the waitlist was open, applicants were required to complete the online application.
