Rock Island Apartments, 1 and 2-Bedroom Section 8 Project-Based Voucher Waiting List

The Housing Authority of the City of Fort Lauderdale (HACFL) last accepted Section 8 Project-Based Voucher waiting list applications for Rock Island Apartments from July 17, 2024, until 72 1-Bedroom applications were received and 150 2-Bedroom applications were received. There is no notice when this waiting list will reopen.

This waiting list was for the following property:

• Rock Island Apartments - Offering 1 and 2-Bedroom units. 

Income Qualification

The maximum income limits for each household size were as followed:

• 1 Person $36,950 | 3 Persons $47,500
• 2 Persons $42,200 | 4 Persons $52,800

Preferences have not been confirmed.

Selection Process

75 selected applicants were placed on the 1-Bedroom waiting list by date and time the application was received.

150 selected applicants were placed on the 2-Bedroom waiting list by date and time the application was received.

Application Method

To apply while the waitlist was open, applicants were required to complete the online application.
