Apache ASL Trails Living Senior/ Disabled Section 8 Project-Based Voucher Waiting List

The Housing Authority of Maricopa County (HAMC) Near Elderly/Disabled Section 8 Project-Based Voucher waiting list for 1 and 2-Bedroom apartments at Apache ASL Trails Living is currently closed. Applications were last accepted from May 10, 2021 until May 24, 2021, or until 50 applications were received. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to complete the online application.

The maximum income limits for each household size were as follows:

• 1 Person $27,250 | 5 Persons $42,050
• 2 Persons $31,150 | 6 Persons $45,150
• 3 Persons $35,050 | 7 Persons $48,250
• 4 Persons $38,900 | 8 Persons $51,350

This waiting list had the following preferences:

• 55+ or Disabled
• Head or Spouse age 62+ OR Disabled
  • Head of Household or Spouse: Age 62 years old and older Or a Disabled that is verifiable through Social Security Disability or a doctor's statement
• Homeless Referral Preference
  • Living in a shelter AND are participating in case management with the referral agency. Must be able to provide documentation from the referral agency upon request to qualify for this preference. If applicable, please check the box and attach agency referral. Homeless families who live with friends or relatives and who are not currently in the transition system are encouraged to apply without preference.
• Local Residency
  • Applicants who live. work or have been hired to work in the jurisdiction of HAMC for a minimum of 12 months http://maricopahousing.org/public-housing/maricopa-county-service-map/
• Veterans
  • Supporting veteran documentation will be required.

It was not known how applicants will be placed on the waiting list.
