The Villas at Titusville Section 8 Project-Based Voucher Waiting List

The Housing Authority of the Birmingham District (HABD) last accepted Section 8 Project Based Voucher waiting list applications for The Villas at Titusville from April 11, 2023, until April 18, 2023. There is no notice when this waiting list will reopen.

To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to complete the online application.

This waiting list had the following preferences:

• Public Housing Demo/Dispo
  • defined as person(s) legally occupying a unit in a specified public housing community, on the date the community was approved by HUD to be disposed of demolished.
• Public Housing Crime Victims
  • defined as having been a victim of a violent crime or a witness providing testimony to law enforcement of a violent crime which occurred in or around the public housing community.
• Public Housing Uninhabitable
  • defined as a person(s) legally occupying a unit that is deemed unsafe or uninhabitable and there is no other appropriate unit available in the public housing community in which they reside.

It was not known how selected applicants were placed on the waiting list.
