John F. Kennedy Towers Senior Section 8 Project-Based Voucher Waiting List

The Troy Housing Authority (THA) waiting list for Senior Section 8 Project-Based Voucher apartments at John F. Kennedy Towers is currently open. Applications are being accepted since at least May, 2020, until further notice.

To apply during the opening period, print the application that is available online. In the "RAD AFFORDABLE HOUSING PROGRAM" section, select the link in the sentence that says "John F. Kennedy Towers requires a separate application which can be found here."

Once the application has been completed, it must be either:

• Mailed to the THA at 1 Eddys Lane, Troy, NY 12180.
• Turned into any THA site. The THA Directory can be found here.

This waiting list has the following preferences:

• Applicants who live in Troy, New York
• Veterans/servicemen & veterans'/servicemen's families
• Families from the jurisdiction of the Troy Housing Authority who have become homeless through no fault of their own and are presently being housed in shelters or motels through assistance from the Rensselaer County Department of Social Services.
