Aurora Vista Apartments Section 8 Project-Based Voucher Waiting List

The Orange County Housing Authority (OCHA) is accepting Section 8 Project Based Voucher waiting list applications at Aurora Vista Apartments from January 8, 2024, until further notice.

This waiting list is for the following property:

• Aurora Vista - is located at 11892 Beach Blvd., Stanton, CA  90680.

Please note: According to the OCHA public notice "Admission preference for ten (10) studio units will be given to applicants who are experiencing homelessness and meet the Veterans Affairs Supporting Housing (HUD-VASH) eligibility criteria, including VA health care eligibility."

There are two ways to apply while the waitlist is open:

1. Call the OCHA office at (714) 480-2700 for an application.
2. Call 2-1-1 Orange County at (888) 600-4357 to be connected to CES access point.

This waiting list has the following preferences:

• Homelessness and meet the Veterans Affairs Supporting Housing (HUD-VASH) eligible for services under the Special Needs Housing Program.
• Applicants referred by the Orange County Coordinated Entry System (CES) to OCHA.

It is not known how applicants will be placed on the waiting list, by order of preferences.
