Housing Authority of the City of Waycross Public Housing Waiting List

Please note: The Housing Authority of the City of Waycross also manages this Public Housing waiting list for the Housing Authority of the City of Blackshear.The Housing Authority of the City of Waycross (HACW) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list applications for families and senior/disabled individuals.The HACW offers three Public Housing communities with 355 units for families and senior/disabled individuals.To apply, visit the HACW to pick up an application, located at 1130 Tebeau St., Waycross, GA 31501, from 8:00 am until 6:00 pm EDT, Monday-Thursday.Once the application has been completed, it must be hand delivered to the address listed above, from 8:00 am until 6:00 pm, Monday-Thursday.Be sure to include these documents with your application: birth certificates, social security cards, proof of all income, photo IDs for all adult household members, background check with local police department, and the application notarized.The HACW does not have preference. Qualified applicants will be placed onto the waiting list by the date and time of the application submission.For more information, the HACW can be reached by calling (912) 287-2440 from 8:00 am until 6:00 pm, Monday-Thursday.
