The Housing Authority of the County of Stewart (HACS) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list applications for families and senior/disabled individuals.The HACS offers one Public Housing community with 70 units for families and senior/disabled individuals.To apply, visit the HACS to pick up an application, located at 151 Stevens St., Lumpkin, GA 31815, from 8:30 am until 3:00 pm EDT, Monday-Friday.Once the application has been completed, it must be hand delivered to the address listed above, from 8:30 am until 3:00 pm, Monday-Friday.Be sure to include these documents with your application: Birth certificates, Social Security Cards, proof of all income, and photo IDs for all adult household members.No preferences were noted.For more information, call the HACS at (229) 838-4493 from 8:30 am until 3:00 pm, Monday-Friday.
