Phenix City, Alabama Public Housing Waiting List

The Phenix City Housing Authority (PCHA) is accepting Public Housing waiting list applications from January 22, 2024, until further notice.

To apply while the waiting list is open, complete the online application.

This waiting list has the following preferences:

• Catastrophic Involuntary Displacement  (Fire, Tornado, Hurricane)
• Veterans of the Armed Services who are currently homeless
• Working Families (the Head of the Household, spouse, or co-head must be employed at least 20 hours per week and must have been on the job for at least six months before admission, self-employed (must provide official IRS transcripts), attending school full time, participating in a job training program)
• Elderly or Disabled

It is not known how applicants will be placed on the waiting list, by order of preferences.
