Housing Authority of Alexander City Public Housing Waiting List

As of July 2017, the Housing Authority of Alexander City (HAAC) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for families and senior/disabled households.

To apply:

1. Visit the HACAC to pick up a pre-application, located at 2110 County Road, Alexander City, Alabama 35010, from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm, Monday-Friday.

2. Download a pre-application here, then print and complete.

Once the pre-application has been completed, call the HACAC office to make an appointment to turn in the pre-application at 256-329-2201, from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm, Monday-Friday.

Be sure to include these documents with the pre-application: Social Security Cards and birth certificates for all household members, photo IDs for all adult household members, final divorce decree (if applicable), marriage certificate (if applicable), employers name and address, most recent Social Security/SSI award letter (if applicable), child support check stubs (if applicable), unemployment check stubs (if applicable), and veterans benefit letter (if applicable).
