St. Clair County Housing Authority Public Housing Waiting List

The St. Clair County Housing Authority (SCCHA) waiting list for Public Housing apartments is currently open. Applications are being accepted since at least November, 2017, until further notice.

To apply during the opening period, print the application that is available online. In the "Programs" tab, go to "Public Housing" and then select the "Housing Application" link.

Once the application has been completed, it can be mailed or hand delivered to:

This waiting list has the following preferences: 

• Living or working in the jurisdiction
• Employed (or a senior citizen, or person with a disability)
• Unmet housing need
• Veteran or the survivor of a veteran
• Law enforcement official or certified teacher
• Being displaced by government action or a presidentially declared disaster

Selected applicants will be placed on the waiting list by date and time the application is received, weighed by order of preferences.
