Effingham County Housing Authority Public Housing Waiting List

The Effingham County Housing Authority is currently accepting public housing applications for families and elderly disabled individuals.


This Housing Authority offers 147 units, located in Effingham County.


To apply for public housing you must go to the Housing Authority office located at 215 Banker St., Effingham, IL 62401, during normal office hours.


Once the application has been completed you must hand deliver to the above address. Be sure to bring originals of birth certificates, social security cards, proof of income, and photo IDs for all adult household members.
