The Housing Authority of Rayne (HAR) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for families and senior/disabled households.The HAR offers one Public Housing community with 200 units for families and senior/disabled households, ranging in size from studios to 4 bedrooms.To apply, visit the HAR to pick up a pre-application, located at 1011 The Blvd, Rayne, LA 70578, from 8:30 am until 3:00 pm CT, Monday-Friday.Once the pre-application has been completed, it must be hand delivered to the address listed above, from 8:30 am until 3:00 pm, Monday-Friday.Be sure to include these documents with the pre-application: Social Security Cards and birth certificates for all household members, photo IDs for all adult household members, Social Security benefit letter, food stamp award letter (if applicable).No preferences were noted.For more information, call the HAR office at (337) 334-3084 from 8:30 am until 4:00 pm, Monday-Friday.
