The Housing Authority of the Town of Vinton (HATV) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for families and senior/disabled households.The HATV offers one Public Housing community with 68 units for families and senior/disabled households, ranging in size from 1 to 3 bedrooms.To apply, visit the HATV to submit a pre-application in person, located at 810 Center St., Vinton, LA 70668, from 8:30 am until 11:00 am CT on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.Be sure to bring these documents with you when applying: Social Security Cards and birth certificates for all household members, proof of all income, and photo IDs for all adult household members.The HATV does have a preference for: Working families, disabled, and elderly.For more information, call the HATV office at (337) 589-5331 during normal office hours.
