The Housing Authority of the City of Deridder (HACD) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for families and senior/disabled households.The HACD offers one Public Housing community with 122 units for families and senior/disabled households, ranging in size from 1 to 4 bedrooms.To apply, visit the HACD to pick up a pre-application, located at 600 Warren St, DeRidder, LA 70634, from 8:00 am until 12:00 pm, and from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm, Monday-Friday.Once the pre-application has been completed, it must be hand delivered to the address listed above, from 8:00 am until 12:00 pm, and from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm, Monday-Friday.Be sure to include these documents with the pre-application: Photo IDs for all adult household members, and a completed criminal background check from the local sheriff's office.No preferences were noted.For more information, call the HACD office at (337) 463-7288, from 8:00 am until 12:00 pm, and from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm, Monday-Friday.
