Housing Authority of the City of Jennings Public Housing Waiting List

The Housing Authority of the City of Jennings (HACJ) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for families and senior/disabled households.The HACJ offers one Public Housing community with 165 units for families and senior/disabled households, ranging in size from 1 to 4 bedrooms.To apply, visit the HACJ to pick up a pre-application, located at 300 Bangle St, Jennings, LA 70546, from 8:00 am until 4:30 pm, Monday-Friday.Once the pre-application has been completed, it must be hand delivered to the address listed above, from 8:00 am until 4:30 pm, Monday-Friday.Be sure to include these documents with the pre-application: Social Security Cards and birth certificates for all household members, proof of all income, four consecutive weeks of pay stubs, photo IDs for all adult household members, bank statements, and car registration for each vehicle.The HACJ does have a preference for: Working families, disabled, or elderly.For more information, call the HACJ office at (337) 824-5642 from 8:00 am until 4:30 pm, Monday-Friday.
