Lincoln Park Housing Commission Public Housing Waiting List

The Lincoln Park Housing Commission is currently accepting public housing waiting list applications for families and elderly/disabled individuals.


This housing commission offers 2 apartment communities for elderly and disabled individuals, with all utilities and basic cable included. For families, they offer scattered single homes located throughout Lincoln Park.


To apply for public housing, you can stop by their office located at 1356 Electric Avenue, Lincoln Park, MI, to pick up an application, or one can be mailed to you by calling 313-388-4660, during normal business hours.


Once you have completed the application you must call the housing commission at 313-388-4660, to schedule an interview to finish the application process. Be sure to bring originals of: birth certificates, social security cards, bank statements, proof of income, and photo IDs for all adult household members.


This housing commission does not go by a preference point system, instead, your application is placed by date and time received.
