Ionia Housing Commission Public Housing Waiting List

The Ionia Housing Commission (IHC) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for families and senior/disabled individuals.The IHC offers one Public Housing community with 110 units for families and senior/disabled individuals, ranging in size from 1 to 4 bedrooms.To apply, visit the the IHC to pick up a pre-application, located at 667 Union St, Ionia, MI 48846; from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm, and 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm, Monday-Friday.Once the pre-applciaiton has been completed, it must be hand delivered to the address listed above.Be sure to include these documents with the pre-application: Birth certificates, Social Security Cards, proof of all income, and photo IDs for all adult household members.The IHC does have a preference point system that may improve your spot on the waiting list: Live and/or work in Ionia, victim of domestic violence, veteran, employed, or disabled.For more information, the IHC can be reached by calling (616) 527-9060; from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm, and 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm, Monday-Friday.
