Please note: The Northwest Minnesota Multi-County Housing and Redevelopment Authority covers the Counties of  Kittson, Marshall, Norman, Pennington, Polk (with limited availability city of Crookston), Red Lake, Roseau and Lake of the Woods, MN.The Northwest Minnesota Multi-County Housing and Redevelopment Authority (NMMCHRA) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for families and senior/disabled households.Please note: The HRA only offers three bedroom homes for families.The NMMCHRA offers one Public Housing community with 167 units for families and senior/disabled households, ranging in size from one bedroom and three bedrooms.There are two ways to apply:

  1. Visit the NMMCHRA to pick up a pre-application, located at 205 Garfield Ave., Mentor, MN 56736 during, from 8:00 am until 4:30 pm CT, Monday-Friday.
  2. Download a pre-application online here, then print and complete.
Once the pre-application has been completed, it can be hand delivered to the address listed above, or mailed to PO Box 128, Mentor, MN 56736.Be sure to include Social Security Cards for each household member with the pre-application.No preferences were noted.For more information, visit the NMMCHRA website, or call the office at (218) 637-2431 from 8:00 am until 4:30 pm, Monday-Friday.
