Newark Housing Authority Senior / Disabled Public Housing Waiting List

The Newark Housing Authority (NHA) Senior/Disabled Public Housing waiting list is currently open, since at least 2000, until further notice. Waiting lists for a specific community or bedroom size may be closed.

To apply, pick up an application at the Newark Housing Authority located at 500 Broad Street, 1st Floor, Newark, New Jersey, 07102; Monday through Friday, from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm ET. 

Once the paper application has been completed, it must be:

1.     Dropped off at the Newark Housing Authority at the address above, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm.
2.     Mailed to the Newark Housing Authority at 500 Broad Street, 1st Floor, Newark, New Jersey, 07102.                

This waiting list has the following preferences: Persons 62 years old or older.

Selected applicants will be placed on the waiting list by date and time the application is received, by order of preferences.
