Eastern Regional Housing Authority Public Housing Waiting List

The Eastern Regional Housing Authority (ERHA) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for families and senior/disabled households.The ERHA serves the following counties: Chaves, De Baca, Eddy, Guadalupe, Harding, Lea, Lincoln, Otero, Quay, Roosevelt, Union and Curry.The ERHA offers two Public Housing communities with 104 units for families and senior/disabled households, ranging in size from 1 to 4 bedrooms.There are two ways to apply:1. Visit the ERHA to pick up a pre-application, located at 106 E. Reed St., Roswell, NM 88202, from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm, and from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm, Monday-Friday.2. Request for a pre-application be mailed to you by contacting the ERHA in writing, by mailing the request to the address listed above, or by fax 575-622-7507.Once the pre-application has been completed, it can be mailed or hand delivered to the address listed above.Be sure to include these documents with the pre-application: Social Security Cards, birth certificates, proof of all income, six months of bank statements, Social Security award letter if applicable, child support award letter if applicable, and photo IDs for all adult household members.The ERHA does not have a preference.Qualified applicants will be placed by the date and time the pre-application is received.For more information, call the ERHA office at 575-622-0881, from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm, and from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm, Monday-Friday.
