Housing Authority of the City of Newport Public Housing Waiting List

The Housing Authority of the City of Newport (HACN) waiting list for Public Housing apartments is currently closed. Applications were last accepted on January 28, 2019. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

There were three ways to apply during the opening period:

1. Visit the HAN Management Office to pick up an application.
2. Print the application available online.
3. Complete the online application.

Once the application was completed, it must have been be hand delivered to the HACN.

This waiting list had the following preferences: Live and/or work in the City of Newport, elderly, disabled, employed, household is a resident or Section 8 participant of the Housing Authority of Newport, household is a resident of Park Holm, household has been pre-approved for a mortgage.
