Housing Authority of Lancaster Public Housing Waiting List

The Housing Authority of Lancaster (HAL) Public Housing waiting list for 1, 2, 3 and 4-Bedroom apartments is currently open. Applications are being accepted from August 2, 2021, until further notice.

There are two ways to apply during the opening period: 

1. Complete an application in person at the HAL main office, located at 3502 Caroline Ct, Lancaster, SC 29720; every Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00 am to 11:30 am, and 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm.
2. Print the paper application available here. Scroll down, and select the "Preliminary application for admission and the Authorization for Release of Information" links.

Once the application has been completed, it must be either:

1. Mailed to the Housing Authority of Lancaster, 3502 Caroline Ct, Lancaster, SC 29720.
2. Dropped off in person to the HAL main office, address mentioned above.
3. Emailed to [email protected].

Preferences have not yet been confirmed.

Selected applicants will be placed on the waiting list by date and time the application is received.
