1 and 2-Bedroom Senior / Disabled Public Housing Waiting List

The Alto Housing Authority (AHA) is accepting Senior and Disabled Public Housing waiting list applications for 1 and 2-bedroom apartments from the earliest confirmed date of September 1, 2023, until further notice.

To apply while the waiting list is open, complete the online application.

This waiting list has the following preferences:

• Elderly
• Disabled (Government disability proof.)
• Household member must have employment that is consecutive and with the same employer for more than 6 months
• Must live in Cherokee County for a minimum of 6 months prior to their application date

Selected applicants will be placed on the waiting list by date and time the application is received, weighed by order of preferences.
