Lynchburg Redevelopment and Housing Authority Public Housing Waiting List

The Lynchburg Redevelopment and Housing Authority Public Housing waiting list for 1, 2, 3 and 4-Bedroom apartments is currently closed.

The LRHA last accepted applications for this waiting list from January 28, 2020, until May 19, 2022. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to complete the online application

This waiting list had the following preferences:

• Working
• Elderly/Disabled
• Veteran or Veteran Family
• Homeless
• Victims of Domestic Violence
• Involuntary Displaced
• Substandard Housing
• High Rent Burden (rent is 50% or more of my income)
• Currently Enrolled in an Educational Training Program

Selected applicants were placed on the waiting list by date and time the application was received, by order of preferences.
