Broward County, Florida General Section 8 Voucher Waiting List

The Broward County Housing Authority (BCHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently closed. It was last open for five days in February 2017, and before that for one week in March 2015.

To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to complete the online application. The application was available in English and Spanish.

This waiting list has the following preferences: Elderly and disabled.

Applicants received a confirmation number after applying. Keep this number in a safe, easy to access place.

3,000 applicants were placed on the waiting list by random lottery, by order of preferences.
