DuPage County, Illinois Section 8 Voucher Waiting List

The DuPage Housing Authority Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is closed.

The DHA last accepted applications for this waiting list for one day on May 10, 2022. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to complete the online application.

This waiting list had the following preferences:

• Residency (1 Point)
• Family (1 Point)
  • At least one household member is a minor child under 18 years old; 
  • The head of household or spouse is at least 62 years of age or older; 
  • At least one household member is disabled.
• Veteran (1 Point)
• Domestic Violence, Dating Violence, Sexual Assault and Stalking (1 Point)
• Family Self-sufficiency (FSS)/ HUD Program (1 Point)
• Involuntary Displacement Preference (1 Point)
• Homeless (1 Point)

It is not known how applicants were placed on the waiting list.

The waiting list closed after 1,500 applications were received.
