Kendall County, Illinois Mainstream Voucher Waiting List

The Kendall Housing Authority (KHA) Mainstream Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently open. Applications are being accepted from May 4, 2021 at 10:00 am CT, until 150 applications have been received.

Please note: According to KHA, "These vouchers are specifically targeted to assist non-elderly persons with disabilities"

To apply during the opening period, complete the online application here.

This waiting list has the following preferences:

• Persons who are clients of the Will, Grundy and Kendall Counties Continuum of Care agencies who are transitioning out of institutional or other separated settings; at serious risk of institutionalization; currently experiencing homelessness; or previously experienced homelessness and currently a client in a permanent supportive housing or rapid rehousing project.

150 applicants will be placed on the waiting list by date and time the application is received, weighed by order of preferences
