Phoenix, Arizona Section 8 Voucher Waiting List

The City of Phoenix Housing Department (CPHD) last accepted Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from September 12, 2023, until September 26, 2023. There is no notice when this waiting list will reopen.

There were four ways to apply while the waitlist was open:

1. Complete the online application.
2. Pick up an application in person at the CPHD office.
3. Email [email protected] to request an application.
4. Call (602) 534-3030 to request an application.

Once the paper application was completed, it was to be either:

1. Hand delivered to the CPHD office.
2. Dropped off to the CPHD drop box.
3. Emailed to the CPHD.
4. Faxed to the CPHD.
5. Mailed to the CPHD office, with a postmark no later than Tues., Sept. 26, 2023.

Preferences have not been confirmed.

Selected applicants were placed on the waiting list by random lottery, by order of preferences.
