The Housing Authority of Pikeville (HAP) is accepting Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from the earliest confirmed open date of February 23, 2024, until further notice.

Preferences

This waiting list has the following preferences:

• Victim of Fed or State Decl. Disaster
• Victim of Domestic Violence
• Displaced Individual or Family
• Local Worker (Family)
• Full Time Student (Family)
• Based on Income Inability to Work (Fam)
• Paying 50% or More of Gross Income
• Elderly
• Single

Selection Process

Selected applicants will be placed on the waiting list by date and time the application is received, by order of preferences.
