The St. Bernard Parish Government Housing and Redevelopment Department (SBPHR) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is closed.

The SBPHR last accepted applications for this waiting list from September 1, 2022, until September 7, 2022. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to complete the online application. No mailed, faxed, hand-delivered or emailed applications were accepted.

The maximum income limits for each household size were listed on the public notice.

Preferences have not yet been confirmed.

500 applicants were placed on the waiting list by random lottery.
