Calvert County, Maryland Section 8 Voucher Waiting List

The Calvert County Housing Authority (CCHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently closed. Applications were last accepted on March 15, 2021. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to complete the online application.

This waiting list had the following preferences:

• Live, work, or have you been hired to work in Calvert County? (10 Points)
• At least one adult who is employed a minimum of 30 hours per week and has done so for one year -or who are active participants in an educational or training program designed to prepare the individual forthe job market. (5 Points)
  • This preference is automatically extended to elderly families or families whose head of household isreceiving income based on their inability to work.
• Head of household or spouse is a veteran of the US Military or the surviving spouse of a veteran. (1 Point)

Selected applicants were placed on the waiting list by date and time the application was received, weighed by order of preferences.
