Harford County, Maryland Section 8 Voucher Waiting List

The Harford County Housing Agency is accepting Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications since at least November 2019, until March 1, 2023. There is no notice when this waiting list will reopen.

To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to complete the online application.

This waiting list had the following preferences:

• Live or work in Harford County
• Family with dependent children
• At least one family member worked 32+ hours per week for the previous 12 months
• Head/co-head/spouse elderly (62+) or disabled
• Veteran or a surviving spouse of a veteran
• Experiencing homelessness
• Living in a homeless shelter, institution (jail, nursing home, group home), living on the street, living with friends or relatives

The maximum income limits for each household size were as followed:

• 1 person- $21,250 | 5 person- $32,750
• 2 person- $24,250 | 6 person- $35,150
• 3 person- $27,300|  7 person- $39,010
• 4 person- $30,300 | 8 person- $43,430

Selected applicants were placed on the waiting list by date and time the application was received, weighed by order of preferences.
