City of St. Cloud; and the Counties of Benton, Sherburne and Wright, Minnesota Section 8 Voucher Waiting List

The St. Cloud Housing and Redevelopment Authority (HRA) last accepted Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from December 4, 2023, until December 8, 2023. This waiting list was last open in May, 2022. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

To apply while the waiting list was open, applicants were required to complete the online application.

The maximum income limits for each household size were available on the public notice.

This waiting list had the following preferences:

• 90% of applicants selected will need to meet HRA preference requirements, in which they live, work or are attending school full-time in the city limits of St. Cloud or the counties of Benton, Sherburne or Wright. 10% of application selected will be nonpreference

1,500 applicants were placed on the waiting list by random lottery, weighed by order of preferences.
