Nevada Housing Authority Section 8 Voucher Waiting List

The Nevada Housing Authority (NHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently open until further notice.There are two ways to apply:

1. Visit the NHA to pick up a pre-application, located at 1117 N West St, Nevada, MO 64772, from 8:00 am until 4:00 pm CT, Monday-Friday.
2. Request to have a pre-application mailed to you by calling (417) 448-2730 from 8:00 am until 4:00 pm, Monday-Friday.

Once the pre-application has been completed, it can be mailed or hand delivered to the address listed above.Be sure to include copies of these documents with the pre-application: Birth Certificates and Social Security Cards for all household members, and photo IDs for all adult household members.The NHA does not have a preference.Qualified applicants will be placed by the date and time the pre-application is received.For more information, call the NHA office at (417) 448-2730 from 8:00 am until 4:00 pm, Monday-Friday.
