Bergen County, New Jersey Section 8 Voucher Waiting List

The Housing Authority of Bergen County Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is closed.

The HABC last accepted applications for this waiting list from May 16, 2022, until May 20, 2022. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to complete the online application.

This waiting list had the following preferences:

• Veterans and surviving spouses
• Leasing in Place in Bergen County, NJ
• Senior, working, training, or disabled in Bergen County
• Resident of Bergen County
• Senior, working, training, or disabled outside of Bergen County
• All other applicants

350 applicants were placed on the waiting list by random lottery, by order of preferences.
