Auburn, New York Section 8 Voucher Waiting List

The Auburn Housing Authority (AHA) is accepting Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from the earliest confirmed date of January 1, 2025, until further notice. The last time the waiting list was open was in May 2023 and it was open for approximately 2 months. If the same timing persists, the list should be open until March 2025 but it could close sooner if more applications are rteceived.

There are four ways to apply during the opening period:

1. Print the online paper application.
2. Pick up an application from outside the AHA main office, located at 7 Merriman Street, Auburn, NY 13021.
3. Complete the application in person, address mentioned above.
4. Call (315) 253-6249 to request an application by mail.

Once the application has been completed, it must be either:

1. Dropped off at the AHA main office drop box, address mentioned above.
2. Mail to the AHA , address mentioned above.

This waiting list has the following preferences: Local Preferences (anyone residing in the City of Auburn)

Selected applicants will be placed on the waiting list by date and time the application is received, weighed by order of preferences.
