Ulster County, New York, Limited Section 8 Voucher Waiting List

The Rural Ulster Preservation Company (RUPCO) last accepted Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications for Ulster County on a limited basis from January 30, 2024, until February 14, 2024. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

Please note: This waiting list was exclusively for applicants experiencing homelessness.

There were two ways to apply while the waiting list was open:

1. Print the paper application.
2. Pick up an application from the RUPCO’s office.

Once the application was completed, it was either:

1. Dropped off at the RUPCO office mailbox.
2. Mailed to the RUPCO office.

The maximum income limits for each household size were as follows:

• 1 Person $35,600 | 5 Persons $54,900
• 2 Person $40,650 | 6 Persons $58,950
• 3 Persons $45,750 | 7 Persons $63,000
• 4 Persons $50,800 | 8 Persons $67,100

Preferences have not yet been confirmed.

Selected applicants were placed on the waiting list by random lottery.
