Rocky Mount, North Carolina Mainstream Voucher Waiting List

The Rocky Mount Housing Authority (RMHA) Mainstream Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently closed. It was last open in September, 2020. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

Please note: To qualify for mainstream voucher program you must be non-elderly (at least age 18 and not yet 62 years of age) who are transitioning out of institutional or other segregated settings or at serious risk of institutionalization who often have difficulties in locating suitable and accessible housing on private market to lease affordable housing of their choice.

To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to complete the online application.

Preferences have not yet been confirmed.

It was not known how applicants will be placed on the waiting list.
