Asheboro, North Carolina Section 8 Voucher Waiting List

The Asheboro Housing Authority (AHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is closed.

The AHA last accepted applications for this waiting list from October 15, 2018, until December 31, 2021. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

There were three ways to apply during the opening period:

1. Complete the online application.
2. Complete the application at the AHA office.
3. Pick up an application at the AHA offices.

Once the paper application was completed, it was dropped off at the AHA office.

This waiting list had the following preferences:  

• Elderly
• Disabled
• Working applicants who live or work in Randolph County

Selected applicants were placed on the waiting list by date and time the application is received, by order of preferences.
