Davie, Surry, Stokes, and Yadkin County, North Carolina Section 8 Voucher Waiting List

The Piedmont Triad Regional Council (PTRC) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently open. Pre-applications are being accepted from October, 2018, until further notice.

To apply during the opening period, call (336) 904-0300.

This waiting list has the following preferences:

• Elderly
• Disabled
• Veterans
• Homeless
• Have independent children

Selected applicants will be placed on the waiting list by date and time the application is received, weighed by order of preferences.

As of August 2024, the wait time for a voucher is two to five years.
