Cincinnati and Hamilton County, Ohio Mainstream Voucher Waiting List

The Cincinnati Metropolitan Housing Authority (CMHA) Mainstream Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently open. Applications are being accepted from October 28, 2020, until further notice.

Please note: According to the CMHA, "The household must include a non-elderly person age 18 to 61 with disabilities."

To apply during the opening period, complete the online application available here.

This waiting list has the following preferences:

• Transitioning out of institutions or facilities 
• At risk of institutionalization
• Currently experiencing homelessness
• Previously experienced homelessness
• At risk of becoming homeless 
• Currently in permanent supportive housing or rapid rehousing

Selected applicants will be placed on the waiting list by random lottery, weighed by order of preferences.
