The Housing Authority of the City of Tulsa (HACT) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is closed. It was last open from March 8, 2021 at 7:30 am CT, until September 18, 2024 at 3:59PM. Note that this waiting list was open continuously with no defined closing date until September 2024 when the a closing date of September 18, 2024 was announced. According to media accounts, the waiting list has over 9,800 applicants on the lists with a wait time in excess of 2 years.

To apply while the waitlist is open, applicants must have completed the online application.

This waiting list has the following preferences: Victims of Domestic Violence; Disabled; Active Military; Veteran or Spouse of Veteran; Displaced by Government Action or Natural Disaster.

Selected applicants were placed on the waiting list by date and time the application is received, by order of preferences.
