Josephine Housing and Community Development Council Section 8 Voucher Waiting List

Please note: The Josephine Housing & Community Development Council covers Josephine County, OR.

The Josephine Housing Community & Development Council (JHCDC) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently open until further notice.There are three ways to apply:

1. Visit the JHCDC office, located at 1205 NE 7th Street, Grants Pass, OR 97526, from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm PT; and 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays; and from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm on Wednesdays.
2. Call the JHCDC at (541) 479-5529 to have a pre-application mailed to you.
3. Send an email to [email protected] to have a pre-application mailed to you.

Applicants who need assistance completing the pre-application can contact the JHCDC by any means to schedule an appointment.Once the pre-application has been completed, it can be:

1. Dropped off at the JHCDC office at the address above. If the office is closed, put in in the drop slot on the front door.
2. Mailed to the JHCDC at the address above.

The following documentation is required: Physical address, mailing address, Social Security Number of all household membersSelected applicants will be placed on the waiting list by date an time of pre-application submission.Important note: Applicants who have been placed on the waiting list must inform the housing authority immediately if your application information changes (such as contact information, income, and household members). In the case that the office sends a notice that does not get returned, or if application information is out of date, your name may be terminated from the waiting list.
