Schuylkill County Housing Authority Section 8 Voucher Waiting List

The Schuylkill County Housing Authority (SCHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently open. This waiting list opened on April 1, 2014 and is open indefinitely.There are two ways to apply:  

1. Complete a pre-application at the SCHA office, located at 245 Parkway, Schuylkill Haven, PA 17972, from 8:00 am until 3:00 pm, Monday-Thursday.
2. Call (570) 385-3400 to schedule an appointment at various SCHA properties.

The following documents are required when submitting the pre-application: Proof of income, birth certificates, and Social Security Cards of all members of the household. 

It is not known how qualified applicants are placed on the waiting list. We have contacted the SCHA office for clarification, and will update this page when more information becomes available. In the meantime, please contact the SCHA for more information.
