Cranston, Rhode Island Section 8 Voucher Waiting List

The Cranston Housing Authority (CHA) last accepted Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from February 1, 2024, until February 14, 2024. There is no notice when this waiting list will reopen.

To apply while the waitlist was open, applicants were required to complete the online application.

The maximum income limits for each household size were as followed:

• 1 Person $35,850 | 4 Persons $51,200
• 2 Persons $41,000| 5 Persons $55,300
• 3 Persons $46,100 | 6 Person $59,400

Preferences have not been confirmed.

Selected applicants were placed on the waiting list by random lottery, by order of preferences.
