Charleston County, South Carolina Section 8 Voucher Waiting List

The Charleston County Housing and Redevelopment Authority (CCHRA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently closed. Applications were last accepted for one day on April 20, 2021. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to complete the online application.

Preferences have not yet been confirmed.

Selected applicants were placed on the waiting list by date and time the application is received.

The waiting list closed about an hour after it opened; once 500 applications were received.
