Cherokee County, Texas Section 8 Voucher Waiting List

The Jacksonville Housing Authority (JHA) last accepted Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from September 4, 2023, until September 30, 2023. There is no notice when this waiting list will reopen.

There were two ways to apply while the waitlist was open:

1. Complete the online application.
2. Pick up an application in person at the JHA office.

Once the paper application was completed, it was either:

1. Hand delivered to the JHA office.
2. Email to the JHA.

Preferences have not been confirmed.

It was not known how applicants were placed on the waiting list.
